Your Master The Markets Guide!
Hi – my name is Anna Coulling and I am a full time currency, and commodities trader. I have been involved in both trading and investing for over fifteen years and have traded many different financial instruments, from options and futures to stocks and commodities. I write and publish articles ( mostly for free ) for UK and international publications on a wide variety of financial issues, and in particular I enjoy helping others learn how to invest and trade.
Since starting my first web site some years ago, which provides an introduction to trading and investing, I have since developed many other sites which cover a wide variety of markets. Some are simply informational sites, and others like this one provide a daily update on the market with commentary and analysis, along with videos which provide my views, both fundamental and technical, on the likely direction of future prices. All my sites have one thing in common – all the information is provided free of charge. All of these are listed in the My Sites link on the left hand side of the home page.
If you would like to follow my trading more closely or simply ask me a question on trading, then I have several ways you can do this if it is of interest. I am always delighted to hear from traders around the world and will always do my best to help if I possibly can! So how can you follow me? Well there are several ways as follows :
I write a weekly newsletter which I am more than happy to send to you – if you would like to receive a copy please just complete the simple form on the Anna’s Free Newsletter page in the navigation bar at the top of each page.
I Twitter on a daily basis about trades, trading opportunities, trading news, and when post and sites have been updated with a new post. If you are new to Twitter, it is a ” micro blogging” network which only allows 140 characters per post, so it is very easy and quick to keep up with friends, news etc. If you would like to follow me, simply click on the follow link above or sign up for twitter account and then you can log in and follow me here.
If you would like to ask me a trading question, then please just follow the link here which will take you to another of my sites where you can view questions asked by others, comment on these and ask questions of your own. To “Ask Anna” please just follow the link here to trading online help.
I do have a facebook profile and would be delighted to hear from you there, and in addition I will be setting up a trading room on FriendFeed shortly, so that you will be able to meet up with fellow traders and investors from around the world. Alternatively I also have a profile on MySpace and LinkedIn, so you are more then welcome to contact me there. Naturally I would be delighted to hear from you and I am always delighted to answer questions, but please bear with me as I do trade during the day and am therefore generally busy, but will always answer although it might not be the same day!
Good luck with all your trading and investing and I am always looking at new technology to help new traders and investors so please do check back to all the sites regularly which are now all being upgraded to include video – yes sorry, you will be hearing my dulcet tones on the internet very regularly!! – regards Anna
Hi Anna,
okay, I won’t ask you on twitter, but first: Great blog and great information resource for traders!
Now the question:
I’m going to launch another blog in German about trading gold, commodities in general and a little bit about forex trading. Therefor I want to ask you if I can translate your daily analysis of the gold market into German and publish this on my new blog. Of course you get the credits for this and I will link to your page on this blog for further information!!
I think we will both profit from this: I profit because I can publish your good analysis on my blog, you profit from this by getting more visitors (okay, mainly from the german language area) and the visitors who cannot understand english very well are getting your market analysis in German….
Best Regards,
)

I’m interested in your volume spread analysis book…please add me to your announcement list when it’s published. PS Your site is very informative and helpful.
Hello Anna
I must say that more often than not your reports are so verbose that one loses the point of what you are writing. For example, in the report for 8 June 2009, the first sentence has 48 words while the seconds has 55 words. I appreciate your insight but sometimes the report becomes rather confusing.
Hi Ron
Have been reading far too much James Joyce recently so will try to rein in my prose! Delighted you appreciate my comments and good luck with your trading and investing.

Hi Anna,
I would like to contact the relevant person to discuss the possibility of advertising on your site (www.makingbread.co.uk). Please can you let me know who is the best person to get in contact with, and their contact inforamtion?
Many thanks
Abbie
Hi Anna – I have adapted your “Forex Trading Plan” a little, and written a short article on it, for use on my blog. I am seeking your permission to use it. My blog is not launched yet, but already has growing content. Out of respect I have not posted the blog URL here in this post, but I have put it in the appropriate section of my details for you to visit.
Currently the article is on the front page of my blog, but will eventually be placed in a more appropriate location.
I would like to know first of all if I can use it?
I would like to know that if I can, do you approve of the current paraphrasing/adaptation of it?
I have included a link back to your site where I found the plan.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind regards
Ivan
PS – I can not find a “Contact Me” link anywhere to be able to ask you these kinds of questions privately.
Anna
I have two questions about spread trading SPOT vs a Futures Currency.
The SPOT would have to be shorted and Futures played long to take advantage of the differential before expiration. Shorting the SPOT, one would have to deal with paying rollover, but this can be overcome by having a NO SWAP account.
Would a broker’s margin requirement be reduced once both sides are created (SPOT and FUTURES)?
When spread trading a near month futures contract with a far month futures contract does the differential converge at expiration?
Thank you your website is very informative
