		<description>Hi Anna,

I am new to the Forex market and have a few basic queries.

Apologies if they sound silly but here goes.

What is the smallest amount that can be traded in the Forex market, can I trade with a few hundred pounds like the stock market?

What amount of leverage is made available to new account holders, is it the same as more experienced traders or is it increased over time or do we get the full whack advertised?

If the value of a holding goes down, for instance I buy Dollar \ Pound and the value change would I pay interest on the amount or can it just be held until the market improves?

		<description>Dear Anna,

first of all congratulations for your web site and all the information you can provide us, that&#039;s really great..!!

I have a question to ask you.

I&#039;ve noted that in all of your charts of Forex cross, Oil, and others you use always MA 9, 14, 40 &amp; 200.

there is any technical reason why you use the same MA for all the instrument?

Look forward to hearing from you and thanks in advance for your usual help

		<description>Hi Anna
I am just starting to learn about futures.
Could you tell me if e-mini index futures are traded all year round or only in specific months?
Thanks for your help.

<description>Hey Anna, great site, great information and great clarity. I am deeply grateful for the information you have provided. I recently helped my mother buy a new ISA for herself and your information was the best explained and most comprehensive I have found - thank you so much.

		<description>Anna -

My wife and I earn our living in Japanese yen. We will be sending our daughter to college in the US for the next four years. Expected outlay in dollars is $125K. With yen/dollar exchange rate at historic lows, we would like to hedge our currency risk (without parking $125K in dollar denominated assets). We are thinking that currency options might be the way to go. We would very much appreciate any advice on who we should contact (in Tokyo) and what we should ask to buy?

		<description>Hi Anna,
One of your basic rules is that maximum exposure should not be more than 10% of your assets.

Supposing I allocate $ 10K to trade in options (with 25 or 30% of this in reserve) and after a few years now have $50K. My total assets would then be $150K. Would I need to take out some of the money from my options account to only leave 10% or $15K to trade with? As I see it, in order to make money I should leave all the money in the trading account so that it grows. Could you clarify this for me?

Thank you,

		<description>Hi Anna,

I am a beginner to options trading. I have looked at some options newsletters that offer autotrading, and found one that looks very good and low risk, with published results. Ihave spoken to the owner, he is committed to educating his subscribers so they can trade options independently after 18 months or so. (He doesn&#039;t advocate autotrading as the means to that end, but they offer it as a service. ) Is autotrading something I could consider?

Thanks for any info, and your site is to helpful - I just came across it through the website of AAII (American Association of Individual Investors).

		<description>Hi Anna,

Really like your sites - a lot of very useful information in one place

I&#039;m based in the UK and have been playing with demo accounts for a while with various brokers based in the UK .

On your www.currency-forex-trading-online.com/start-trading-currency.htm page, you provide a great checklist for selecting brokers. One of the points you make is to select a broker which offers Unlimited demo account.

You seem to use and recommend ODL so I opened a demo account with them yesterday but they limit their demo a/cs to 30 days and apparently this applies even if you also open a live a/c with them.

My question is are you aware of this and are there any other brokers you suggest.

Thanks a lot</description>
